Litter box training ferrets is possible; IMO is more us the humans that need the training, not so much the ferret. You must try to think ahead, when is the poo time? You must make litter boxes easy axis and close by. That is litter training in a nutshell. From what I heard the ferrets eye balls popped out of the skull, panicked family rushed the suffering animal to the emergency veterinarian, there was nothing could be done to save the eyes, although the ferret survived poor thing is left blind. No fault of its own, not the fault of the teen boy as teenagers don't know better. The parents more likely the dad of that house should have foretold this, and warned the family like I do NO SLAMING DOORS, NO RECLINING UNLESS YOUR HOLDING FERRETS IN YOUR HAND DON'T TURN ON THE DISHWASHERUNTILL YOU HAVE CHECKED UNDER THE BOTTOM RACK FOR FERRETS. This is important and must not be overlooked, killing or hurting small ferrets sucks and is behavior unfitting of a responsible ferret family.
